Yemen's youth in transition

Despite participating in the revolution youth in Yemen continue to be marginalised from decision making and feel disregarded by policymakers. Watch a documentary which follows Saferworld’s work supporting youth leaders to bring their concerns, insight and experiences to bear on political decisions.

International peacebuilding and statebuilding indicators - CSO submission

The International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding draft list of shared indicators have been developed to help countries monitor progress towards the Peacebuilding & Statebuilding Goals that were agreed in the New Deal for Engagement in Fragile States. The CSO Platform for Peacebuilding & Statebuilding submission was jointly prepared by NGOs engaged in the CSO Platform, including Saferworld.


Interview with Executive Director Paul Murphy

In an interview featured in the International Relations and Security Network's newsletter Paul Murphy shares insights into Saferworld’s work in the area of security and justice. Developing a country’s security and justice sector is a crucial component of any broader development policy. However, in order to be effective, institutions need to be tailored to the specific context and be responsive to the needs of local communities.
