Submission to DFID Bangladesh CAP “Issues & Choices” Consultation
Summary
In October, Saferworld submitted its views to the UK Department for International Development's consultation on their Country Assistance Plan (CAP) for Bangladesh.
The submission welcomed DFID's inclusion of human security in their horizon scanning document for Bangladesh but highlighted a lack of clarity over how this would translate into the Country Assistance Plan itself.
It also looked at how DFID could best work to improve human security in Bangladesh and gave some recommendations on linking climate change to security in Bangladesh.
