Saferworld annual review 2008-2009
Summary
Saferworld is an independent NGO that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote co-operative approaches to security.
We work with governments, international organisations and civil society to encourage and support effective policies and practices through advocacy, research and policy development and through supporting the action of others.
This annual review highlights some of the work we undertook during 2008-2009. It also marks the 20th anniversary of Saferworld's establishment as an organisation committed to conflict prevention and peacebuilding. It looks back on past initiatives and achievements and forward towards future challenges and opportunities.
