Working together for peaceful elections in Kenya 2017
In July 2016, Saferworld initiated a project to promote freer, fairer and more peaceful elections in Kenya in 2017. The project will connect local, county and national actors across five Kenyan counties - Isiolo, Marsabit, Migori, Trans Nzoia, and Uasin Gishu. Saferworld and their local partners support communities to resolve emerging conflicts and engage peacefully in electoral processes through training, consultations and dialogues with community leaders and civil society.
