Run for Saferworld
Challenge yourself and raise funds for Saferworld!

We are delighted to announce that Saferworld has places available in the British 10K London Run taking place on Sunday 8 July 2012.
Set in the heart of London, the race route follows the Thames and passes many of London's world famous and iconic sights.
This year is extra special as the race happens just before the London 2012 Olympic Games and actually follows some of the the Olympic Marathon route.
Registration is free, and we hope that running for Saferworld will be a great opportunity for you to get fit, have fun and join the Saferworld team. Every runner will receive a helping hand with training and fundraising support and we ask that every runner tries to raise a minimum of £300 each.
To secure your place email fundraising@saferworld.org.uk or talk to the fundraising team on 0207 324 4646.

(If you already have your own place in the ASICS British 10K London Run you can still fundraise for us! – we will still offer you full support and just ask that you raise what you can.)
A big thank you to our 2011 runners who raised money for our Small Arms and Transfer Controls Programme.
Ineffective arms controls create the risk of arms being misused by governments to commit human rights violations or being diverted from their intended destination for use in regions of conflict and instability.
The Small Arms and Tranfer Controls programme helps to create safer communities and improve the lives of those facing situations of armed conflict by working at national, regional and international levels to strengthen and harmonise controls on the global arms trade.
