About this database

This database lists 151 ‘elements for effective reporting’, and then sets out for each EU Member State how many and which of those elements they report against.  It identifies how many States report on each element, and allows users to quickly compare the quality of reporting across the EU.  In addition, there is a short narrative analysis for each country, which summarises the main features and shortcomings of that country’s reporting.  This includes consideration of the frequency, timeliness, and user-friendliness of the information provided.  Links to Member States’ national reports are also provided where available.
