Saferworld works across Asia, Africa and the Middle East to tackle the diverse factors that drive violent conflict, injustice and insecurity. We support people affected by conflict to exercise their rights and influence policies and practices that affect their security so that they can live with dignity and free from fear.
Critical to our effectiveness is our global policy, advocacy and research work and our efforts to influence national and international policymakers and peacebuilding practitioners to address the underlying drivers of conflict. We identify, engage with and influence institutions, governments and decision makers across conflict-affected contexts and at regional and international levels, including the United Nations, European Union, and government bodies in Europe, the US and China.
We are looking for an experienced candidate to help us grow and manage external funding for our policy, advocacy and research activities. A strong candidate will have a keen interest in and understanding of the role that policy, advocacy and research plays in the international development context, excellent written and communication skills to support proposal development and donor stewardship and critical analytical and co-ordination skills to oversee grant management and donor compliance.
This is an exciting time to join Saferworld as we continue our efforts to influence global actors who have the ability to make the world a safer place.
