New South Sudan Conflict Sensitivity Resource Facility now live – register for updates!

11 May 2017 New South Sudan Conflict Sensitivity Resource Facility now live – register for updates!

Conflict sensitivity is an approach that seeks to maximise the positive impacts of humanitarian and development initiatives for peace, while avoiding harm. The Conflict Sensitivity Resource Facility (CSRF) is a new initiative that supports the use of conflict sensitivity in donor strategies and programmes in South Sudan by:

  • Developing common guidelines and principles for the South Sudan context;
  • Undertaking research and analysis on conflict related topics to inform programming decisions and strategies;
  • Delivery of training and capacity building for donors and implementing partners;
  • Capturing and disseminating learning and best practices in South Sudan and globally.

Implemented by Saferworld, swisspeace, and CDA Collaborative Learning, the CSRF will develop and test innovative approaches to conflict sensitivity in South Sudan. The CSRF has partnered with the South Sudan Peace Portal to establish a searchable research repository where policymakers and practitioners can easily access recent research and analysis to inform programming design and decisions. Sign up here for updates: https://www.csrf-southsudan.org/#subscribe.
