Promoting peace and sustainable resource management in northern Kenya

Saferworld is working with two partners (Pamoja for Transformation and Drylands Learning and Capacity Building Initiative) in Samburu and Baringo counties in northern Kenya. This 2.5-year project will support communities whose livelihoods are being threatened by the effects of climate change. The project aims to ensure that policies and legislation on natural resource management take people’s voices, rights, needs and priorities – including those of excluded groups such as women and youth – into account.
