Conflict sensitivity in Track II dialogues: A case study of South Asia
As part of a consortium led by Saferworld, national organisations in South Asia have been running bilateral dialogues and exchanges – known as Track II dialogues – between Pakistan and its neighbours.
Traditionally, Track II dialogues are led by international or third-party organisations. This briefing explains how national organisations have the credibility and legitimacy to use their knowledge of the context to manage conflict sensitivity risks in these dialogues, and to push for meaningful change in their communities. We share learning points for national partners, international organisations and donors on how to support nationally led Track II processes.
