Briefings from South Sudan
From September 2020 to February 2021, Saferworld and partners hosted state-level roundtable discussions on strengthening community safety and addressing peace challenges across South Sudan.
This briefing presents the main peace and safety challenges identified by communities during the discussions in Aweil, Bentiu, Cueibet, Juba, Malakal, Maridi, Warrap and Wau towns. It then provides recommendations for how best to address these challenges for all levels of government and communities to consider.
