Addressing drivers of conflict in Uganda

In 2021, Saferworld and TPO Uganda began working with regional organisations on a two-year project that aims to contribute to more peaceful, secure and resilient communities in Uganda. Together, we support communities, formal and informal authorities, and civil society to work with each other to address grievances, resolve conflicts and create peace. The project will work with community action groups, and at the district and national level to create tangible change on issues including resource management and climate change, women’s rights, youth rights, and transitional justice.
