In March 2023, Saferworld, Interpeace, Life & Peace Institute and Humanity United hosted a consultation event for civil society peacebuilding organisations to input their experiences and perspectives into the New Agenda for Peace process. This outcome report was submitted to the UN interdepartmental team for the New Agenda for Peace.

Not only is peace the least-defined area of the triple humanitarian-development-peacebuilding nexus, but it is also the least well-funded. This stands in stark contrast to the aims of many organisations and institutions within the aid system to work effectively across the nexus, and the urgent need for an increased focus on peace and conflict prevention.

On 19 April 2023, in collaboration with the Emergent Justice Collective and the International Commission of Jurists, we launched the new Arms Trade Litigation Monitor – a website which tracks and documents legal proceedings that seek accountability for arms transfers linked with armed conflict and humanitarian crisis globally.
