NODS is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that was established in 2006 to promote democracy, human rights, and active citizenship as the basis for development. NODS Yemen believes that active dialogue between communities and institutions is important to ensuring effective development. It works to enhance this through raising awareness of development issues and enabling individuals and groups within communities to participate in development activities and discussions within a secure and safe environment.
NODS programmes aim at raising communities’ awareness about development issues, and supporting the capacity building of local NGOs through trainings and workshops on financial and organisations management, social justice, and conflict resolution.
