Working at Saferworld

Based on our values and principles, Saferworld aims to provide a working environment where we value and respect people’s unique contributions, and provide a safe and trusted environment which safeguards our staff, partners and programme participants.

As part of its commitment to safeguarding, Saferworld also adheres to the Inter-Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme. When following up on references, we will request information from the job applicant’s previous employers about any findings of sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and/or any safeguarding related issues during employment, or incidents under investigation when the applicant left employment.

Any information you provide in application forms or by email will be kept for up to two years, and then will be deleted as per our retention policy.

Saferworld is taking the necessary measures to minimise the risk of COVID-19 infection whilst ensuring the continuity of its operations. We are continuing our recruitment activities, but we are not holding any on-site interviews at present. We will be holding interviews online via Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp. Our staff are working remotely as will newly recruited staff, consultants, and interns. We will ensure that a thorough induction programme is put in place to welcome you.
