Saferworld is a global organisation made up of people from around the world working together to prevent violent conflict and build safer lives. With offices in 15 countries, we have over 160 staff members working across our programmes, policy, advocacy and support teams. We aim to provide a working environment where we value and respect people’s unique contribution, and provide all our staff with a comprehensive range of learning and development opportunities and support.

Saferworld’s integrity as an organisation is derived from the values and principles that underpin and guide our work.  

The purpose of our safeguarding policies is to protect people, particularly children, at risk adults and programme participants, from potential harm that may be caused due to contact with Saferworld and its partners.  This includes harm arising from:

  • the conduct of staff and personnel associated with Saferworld
  • the design and implementation of Saferworld’s programmes and activities

Providing a safe and trusted environment which safeguards our staff, partners and programme participants is a priority for Saferworld.  

Any information you provide in application forms or by email will be kept for up to two years, and then will be deleted as per our retention policy.
