Since 2009, Saferworld has been working with communities in the South Caucasus to ensure their security concerns are heard by local governments and organisations.
In Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, communities along the border are threatened daily by shootings and landmines. With local partners, we speak to communities about how their lives are affected and raise these concerns with governments to influence changes in policy.
In the Caucasus we are working on:
Amplifying local voices – we advocate for the needs of those affected by conflict among border communities.
